Common Questions
Are you a service provider?
No. We're an authorized retailer and marketing partner. We don't install service, bill customers, manage provider accounts, set provider pricing, or provide technical support. The provider you choose is responsible for availability, ordering, installation, billing, terms, and support.
Does pricing vary by location?
Yes. Availability, technology type, pricing, and promotions vary by address and can change without notice. Providers set all pricing, fees, and eligibility requirements.
Is there a fee to use this service?
No separate fee to compare options with us. We may receive compensation from a provider if you activate service through our referral — this does not add any cost to you.
What do I need to have ready when I call?
Your service address (or ZIP code for general context), a phone number, and which services you're interested in comparing — internet, TV, home phone, or mobile.
What happens after I choose a provider?
The provider you select handles ordering, eligibility and credit checks where applicable, installation scheduling, billing, and ongoing support. See our Terms for full details on our role.

Connection Types

What Kind of Internet Can You Get?

Which technologies reach your home decides what speeds and pricing are realistic. Availability is decided address by address.

⚡

Fiber

The fastest option where it exists, usually with matching upload and download speeds. Coverage is growing but still patchy outside larger towns.

🌐

Cable

The most widely available high-speed option. Download speeds are strong; uploads are typically much slower than downloads.

📡

Satellite

Reaches rural and remote addresses where nothing else does. Newer low-orbit services have cut latency substantially.

📶

Fixed wireless

Delivered over a cellular signal to an antenna at your home. A practical middle ground where cable and fiber have not reached.

Choosing a Speed

How Much Speed Does Your Household Need?

Speed requirements are driven by how many people share the connection at once, not by how many devices are in the house. A single person streaming in 4K needs far less than four people video calling simultaneously.

As a rough guide: one or two light users are comfortable on an entry tier; a family of three to five sharing streaming, video calls and homework wants a mid tier; and heavy streaming, competitive gaming, remote work with large file transfers or a large smart home is what the top tiers are built for.

Paying for the fastest tier available rarely helps if the household never uses it, and the difference between the middle and top tier is often smaller in practice than the price gap suggests. A specialist can talk through what you actually use before you commit.

Good to Know

Before You Order

Why does pricing vary so much between addresses?

Providers price by market. The infrastructure available, how many providers compete on your street and which promotions are running locally all move the number, which is why an online quote often differs from what is actually offered at your address.

What is the difference between promotional and standard pricing?

Most introductory rates apply for a fixed period, after which the rate moves to the standard price. Worth asking about both figures before ordering so you can compare options on total cost rather than the opening rate.

Do I need to buy my own equipment?

Usually not. Most services include a gateway or router, sometimes for a monthly fee. Buying your own can work out cheaper over time on some services and is not supported on others.

How quickly can service be installed?

It depends on the technology and how busy the local schedule is. Self-install options can be same-week; a technician visit is typically scheduled a little further out. The date is confirmed when the order is placed.

What if I am moving?

Have the new address ready. Availability, technology and promotional pricing are tied to the service address rather than to you, so the answer can change between your old and new home.
